Who we are

Shun the Sun Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to public education about and prevention of skin cancer.

Founded by Dr. Greg Allen, our mission is to educate the world about the harm that UV overexposure can cause to all people as well as the absolutely vital importance of early detection of skin cancer.

Shun the Sun Foundation hopes to achieve this through finding innovative new ways to spread science-based information about the causes and best treatment options for skin cancer, and fund health-promoting events like the Gilbert Half Marathon.
